MEng (Hons) Computer Science with Cyber Security (with a year in industry)

The MEng Computer Science with Cyber Security with a Year in Industry course is offered by the University of York. This course runs for either four or five years and provides comprehensive knowledge about computer science and cyber security, coupled with an invaluable year in industry to gain practical experience. Course Content: In the first two years, students learn fundamental principles of computer science, software development, and cyber security practices. In the third year, students take a year in industry, putting theory into practice. Their final years cover advanced topics, where students can choose from a range of optional modules tailored to their career aspirations. Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Programming 2: Data structures and algorithms, Systems Programming, Computer Networks and Security, Programming Paradigms, Databases, Programming for the Web, and Cyber Security.
