    The MChem in Chemistry with Green Principles and a Year Abroad at the University of York integrates the study of Chemistry with an understanding of environmental sustainability. The four-year course has a focus on green principles and the role of chemistry in enhancing environmental sustainability. It also includes a year spent studying at a leading international university.

    Course Content: The MChem Chemistry with Green Principles and a Year Abroad course is a full-time study programme. Students start their study with covering the core areas of chemistry including physical, organic, inorganic, and analytical chemistry. The second year focuses on deepening their understanding of these areas along with green chemistry and agri-science. A year abroad to study at an overseas university comprises the third year of study, while in the final year, students get the chance to undertake a major research project in green chemistry.

    Key Modules: Some key modules include Core Physical, Inorganic, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Agri-food Technology, and a final year research project in green chemistry.
