The BSc Biology course at the University of York is designed to give students a broad understanding of the principles of biology and the ability to use modern biological techniques. Through practical work, students will contribute to scientific knowledge, tackle biological problems and communicate results effectively.Course Content: The course includes a wide range of biological topics, from molecules to ecosystems. The first year provides the fundamentals of all biology, while the second and third years allow students to choose modules to suit their interests.
