The BSc in Accounting, Business Finance and Management with a year in Industry at the University of York is a four-year undergraduate course aimed to equip students with a focused understanding of the interrelated disciplines of business finance, accounting, and management. The course particularly satisfies the need to understand the financial system and to evaluate business finance decisions.Course Content: This course comprises of the two subject areas, accounting and business finance running parallel in all modules. The initial stages of the course involve the development of understanding in the core areas of business finance, financial accounting, management accounting, business law, economics, and marketing. In the 3rd year, the students will apply this knowledge in a real industry setting during a full-year paid work placement.
