The BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) at the University of York is a challenging but rewarding undergraduate programme offering students a broad understanding of the principles and theories of Philosophy, Politics and Economics. This interdisciplinary course provides students with robust analytical skills, the ability to critically assess arguments from multiple perspectives and a profound understanding of how politics, economics, and philosophy shape our world. Course Content: The programme is structured over three years. In the first year, students explore the foundations of Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Moving forward in the 2nd year, they will have the opportunity to specialise and select modules according to their interests while still combining the three subject areas.
