The BA Italian & Spanish with a Year Abroad at the University of York is a full-time undergraduate course designed for individuals interested in becoming proficient in both the Spanish and Italian languages. The four-year course includes a year abroad, typically spent studying, working or teaching English in both Italy and Spain, allowing students to immerse themselves fully in both cultures.Course Content: In the first two years, students focus on establishing a solid understanding of the language skills, and cultural and historical background of both Italy and Spain. The third year is spent abroad which provides a deeper understanding and practice of both languages.
