Urban Innovation and Policy

The Urban Innovation and Policy MPA programme at UCL is a course specifically designed for professionals in the public and private sectors who aspire to facilitate innovative change in urban monopoly sectors such as infrastructure, transport, energy, water, health and environmental governance.Course Content: The course is composed of three main parts: Core Modules, Optional Modules, and a Research Dissertation. The Research Dissertation gives students the opportunity to pursue a specific topic of interest in-depth.Key Modules: Core modules include Governing Emerging Technologies, Shaping Future Cities, Policy-Making & Regulation for Innovative Infrastructure Systems, and Dissertation. The available Optional Modules cover a broad range of topics such as Future Infrastructure Financing, Transition Management for Technological Transformation, and critical Infrastructure: Strategy, policy, issues.Accreditations: The Urban Innovation and Policy MPA is accredited by the University College London (UCL).Future Careers: Graduates from this course have gone on to work in various roles in both the public and private sector.
