The Social Policy and Social Research MSc at UCL provides students with a base in social research coupled with a broad understanding of contemporary social policy issues. The foundations of social science research module familiarises students with the strategic use of research design and methods within the social sciences. The course instills a deep understanding of the policy-making process, welfare states in a changing world, and empirical research in social policy.
