The Global Child Health MSc degree program at University College London is a unique program aimed at healthcare professionals - clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and science graduates - who wish to develop expertise in the clinical, social, and leadership areas of child health with a global perspective. As part of University College London's (UCL's) Grand Challenge of 'Transformative Technology', the Global Child Health MSc is a flexible, part-time degree program, offering distance learning to students worldwide. Course Content: The MSc program provides a foundation in the main disciplinary skills of global child health, with a specific focus on child health in low resource settings. There are opportunities for students to develop specialist interests in particular aspects of global child health, based on the specialist expertise of our department and collaborating institutions. There will also be training on leadership skills, which are vital in this field.Key Modules: The four compulsory modules of the programme are: Child Healthcare in Low Resource Settings; Global Child Development Issues; Child Protection; and Leadership in Global Child Health.
