The Nature Inspired Solutions MSc at University College London is a highly interactive, practical, and research-based programme that blends the study of nature's designs and phenomena to create sustainable solutions to engineering and design challenges. Through this interdisciplinary course, students will be enabled to generate new ideas inspired by nature to address pressing societal issues. Course Content: The course includes a combination of lectures, practical sessions, guest lectures and industry visits. It covers topics such as biomimicry, bio-inspired energy systems, advanced biomaterials, and bio-inspired design, among others. The students will be trained to understand, explore and apply nature’s strategies to solve human challenges with an ultimate vision of creating a sustainable future.Key Modules: Some of the core modules include Biomimicry, Bio-inspired Energy Systems, Advanced Biomaterials, and Bio-inspired Design.
