The Human Evolution and Behavior MSc at University College London (UCL) is a one-year, full-time program that provides students with a deep understanding of human evolution and behaviour. This course combines insight from biology and archaeology with innovative techniques and approaches from the cognitive sciences. It enables students to apply the principles of the evolutionary sciences to the human form and behaviour.Course Content: The program's curriculum encompasses a wide array of topics, including human evolutionary anatomy, the cognitive and social lives of humans and their relatives, archaeological and palaeontological evidence for human evolution, philosophical issues in the human sciences, and the interface of human evolution with the environment. Practical laboratory-based modules on human osteology and palaeoanthropology are also a part of the course.Key Modules: Key modules in this course include Human Evolutionary Anatomy, Hominin Palaeoecology, Primate Socioecology, Primate Evolution, and Material Culture in the Hominin Record.
