MSc Engineering with Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Engineering with Innovation and Entrepreneurship MSc program offered by UCL is designed to provide students with an understanding of engineering and innovation management, technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and other business aspects. This unique and comprehensive course integrates business and technical curriculum, facilitating the development of innovative ideas into commercial products.Course Content: The course starts with a grounding in management fundamentals, followed by in-depth exploration of different aspects of technology entrepreneurship. Students also go through actual product development – from idea generation to market introduction. The MSc project gives students the opportunity to design and develop a prototype in a real-life industrial context. They can opt to work on a project of their own choosing, or select from a number offered by UCL and program partners.Key Modules: Core modules include Introduction to the UK Legal System and Legal Skills, Financial Accounting, Engineering with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project, Intellectual Property Law, Project Management, Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship, New Technology Ventures, Intellectual Property Transactions, and Dissertation on Legal Aspects of Innovative Engineering. Future Careers: This MSc program prepares students for a wide range of career opportunities including managerial or consultancy roles within their existing discipline, entering new sectors or launching their own startup companies.
