The MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment (EPEE) at University College London (UCL) is aimed to deliver a thorough understanding of sustainable energy technologies, energy economics, environmental law and environmental economics. This course is proximate to the centres of public policy and the extensive energy industry in London. Course Content: The EPEE programme provides rigorous training in the tools of environmental and energy economics, as well as the legal context in which climate, energy, and environmental policy operates. Students will get an understanding of the economic theory of renewable and non-renewable resource extraction, and how this applies to energy options such as solar, wind, and nuclear power. Students also learn about the economics and law of climate change, as well as carbon capture and storage/sequestration.
