The Crime Science, Serious and Organised Crime MSc course offered by UCL (University College London) is a full-time, one-year program. This course equips students with an understanding of the complex challenges that international serious and organised crime pose, as well as the necessary skills to address them. Designed specifically for engineers, this course also appeals to those from a wide range of disciplines, including economics, mathematics, and statistics. Course Content: The course combines natural language processing, machine learning, social network analysis and agent-based modelling, to equip students with a toolkit of methods to create innovative solutions for real-world challenges in tackling serious and organised crime.Key Modules: The program is divided into two main parts: Core and optional modules. Students need to take courses worth 180 credits. Core modules include Understanding and Explaining Crime and Project.
