MSc Chemical Research

The Chemical Research MSc at the University College London (UCL) is a one-year, full-time programme designed to provide students with an enhanced knowledge of different aspects of modern chemistry. It is a research-oriented, intensive course aiming to equip students with vital research skills in various areas of chemistry.Course Content: The course places a heavy emphasis on research training, providing students with access to UCL's state-of-the-art facilities and extensive resources. The programme involves literature surveys, written reports and seminars, as well as intensive laboratory work. The full coursework includes two distinct sections – one with 180 credits and the other with 240 credits. The 240 credits option culminates in a10,000-word dissertation, while the 180 credits option gives more time for lab work.Key Modules: The course includes compulsory modules such as Literature Survey, Methodology Analysis, Research Proposal, Research Paper, and Research Skills.
