The Translational Neuroscience MRes at UCL is a year-long postgraduate programme focusing on translating neuroscience research into treatments for neurological disorders. The courses include a mix of lectures, practical workshops, research projects, and self-directed learning. Course Content: The MRes in Translational Neuroscience includes two taught modules, supported by seminars and tutorials. It also provides an opportunity for students to embark on a substantial piece of investigative research which represents 50% of the assessment for the degree. Key Modules: The course is broken down into two modules. Module 1 includes Fundamental Neuroscience, and Module 2 involves Principles of Translational Research. These two modules provide the knowledge foundation for students to effectively conduct their research projects.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology.Future Careers: This course provides a solid foundation for those wishing to undertake PhD research in neuroscience or are planning a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
