The Development, Technology and Innovation Policy MPA course offered by UCL is designed to explore innovative and transformative technologies in the context of the new Sustainable Development Goals Agenda. The course imparts knowledge on policies, frameworks, and strategies that shape and regulate the application and innovation of technology. Course Content: The course content is divided into themes like technology policy, innovation policy, and the role of technology in solving complex challenges at various scales – international, national, and urban. It also covers transformative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Internet of Things, among others. The course further allows students to understand the role of various actors in shaping technology and innovation policy.Key Modules: Core modules for this course include Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy, Development and Governance, Project Management, Public Management: Theories and Innovations, and several others.
