The Landscape Architecture MA at UCL is a 12-month full-time course designed to provide you with a sophisticated understanding of the skills and knowledge necessary for engaging with contemporary landscape architecture. The course combines a focus on urban and rural landscape planning with a detailed study of design and management. It builds the requisite skills for those aiming to practice as a landscape architect.Course Content: The course is structured around three significant studio projects, underpinned with theoretical, technical and cultural studies. Students focus on developing and applying the skills necessary for professional practice. In Term 1, students concentrate on research, design drawing and presentation, while in Term 2, the focus shifts to more complex, dynamic design-proposals.
