The Economy, State, and Society: Politics and the International Economy offered by UCL is a unique, one-year, full-time taught Masters programme that aims to train students to engage with and critically analyse the interactions between the economy, state and society. This course is ideal for individuals who are interested in international political economy, economic policy, the globalisation process, and the economic development of post-communist countries.Course Content: The programme provides students with the necessary theoretical background while maintaining a firm focus on relevant empirical techniques. It pays particular attention to the problems of both economic policy and the transitional dynamics in the post-communist world.
