The Education (Literacy) MA course offered by UCL Institute of Education (IOE) is a blend of theory and practice designed to deepen students' understanding of literacy learning and teaching. This course is useful for students with interest in the different dimensions of literacy, be it societal, pedagogical, or cognitive; opening up avenues for significant career enhancement in the education sector.Course Content: The course consists of a number of engaging concepts and modules, from exploring literacy through to more complex aspects such as literacy theories, evaluation of education policy, and literacy for social justice.
