MA Education and Technology

The Education and Technology MA at UCL Institute of Education (IOE) is a renowned postgraduate programme that engages students in identifying, exploring and addressing the key issues affecting the diverse, modern digital learning landscape. It is available full-time over one year or part-time over two to five years, enabling students to combine it with working life or other commitments.Course Content: The course combines theory and practice, enabling students to develop practical skills in the innovative use of digital technologies in teaching and learning across a range of educational settings. The curriculum includes comprehensive study of theories of learning and teaching, modern digital technology, and education research, and offers the opportunity to pursue individual interests through a research project.Key Modules: The core modules that students will encounter during the course include Understanding Research, Technology and Education, Digital Technologies: Education, communication, and Engagement, Learning and Teaching with Technologies, and Research Project.
