The International Social and Political Studies BA at UCL is a distinctive course that combines in-depth study of social science and politics with a truly global outlook. It offers an interdisciplinary approach that allows students to explore topics from a variety of perspectives, including political philosophy, sociology, and global health, among others. Course Content: The course is structured around two core themes: 'Global Governance, Conflict, and Justice' and 'Social and Economic Policy in a Global Context'. Students are required to study both themes in their first year and can then choose to specialise in one in their second year. They will also learn research and analytical skills and a global language. Key Modules: Some of the key modules that students may study include 'Global Political Economy', 'Politics of Population Change', 'International Organisations and Global Governance', 'Global Transformations: Politics, Economics and Culture', and 'Language and World'.
