BA Finnish and German

The Finnish and German BA is a four-year undergraduate course offered by University College London (UCL). It provides students with the advanced skills required to understand and appreciate the languages and cultures of both Finland and Germany, as well as the surrounding regions.Course Content: The course curriculum is divided into two main sections. The first three years are spent studying both languages in combination with modules on Finnish and German literature, culture, and history. Fourth-year students can then choose from a range of options to further specialize and complete their studies.Key Modules: Some key modules across the four years include: Dynamic Scandinavian Languages: Old Norse-Icelandic, Year Abroad Project, German History: National Socialism, and Memory Culture since 1945.
