The Czech and Portuguese BA course at the University College London (UCL) offers students a unique opportunity to explore the languages, literatures, and cultures of the Czech Republic and Portuguese-speaking countries. This 4-year full-time program includes a year of study abroad, further enhancing the students' understanding and proficiency in both languages.Course Content: The course comprises intensive language modules, literature, and culture studies. In the first two years, students will receive a solid foundation in both Czech and Portuguese with a focus on contemporary spoken and written language. Additionally, they will be introduced to important figures, movements, and periods in Czech and Portuguese history, literature, and culture. Students will then spend the third year abroad in a Czech-speaking and a Portuguese-speaking country.
