LLB Law with Business

The LLB (Hons) Law with Business course offered by The University of Law is designed for future lawyers with a keen interest in business. This full-time three-year course combines law studies with business principles, equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of both areas.Course Content: The curriculum for the course entwines both law and business. Students start with a strong legal foundation, covering topics such as criminal law, contract law, law of torts, public law, and EU law in the first two years. The final year offers modules in business, where skills and understanding in marketing, HR, and corporate strategic management are honed. The program also offers options for specialization, which aids in tailoring career paths.Key Modules: The course comprises core modules including foundations of legal knowledge, plus specialist business modules such as Understanding Business, Performing in Business, Managing Business and Strategy in Context. Students also have a choice of elective modules to study in their final year, further enhancing their learning based on individual interests.Accreditations: The University of Law is recognized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board as a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD).Future Careers: After completing the LLB (Hons) Law with Business degree, students can proceed to either the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to become a solicitor, or the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) to become a barrister.
