The Collaborative Piano Pathway course at Royal Holloway University of London is a specialist pathway of the broader MMus in Music. Tailored to students with a passion for ensemble and choral singing, the course aims to enhance your technique, musicianship and performance in these areas whilst also providing opportunities to gain practical experience in conducting.Course Content: The course has been methodically designed to strike the perfect balance between practice and theory. Each week, students receive one-to-one lessons focusing on their specific area of study, alongside classes in practical musicianship and academic seminars. Additionally, the programme allows students to choose an ensemble to perform with each term, offering a rich and varied experience in different styles of music.Key Modules: The course consists of several modules including Ensemble Performance, Music of the Classical Period, Music in Contemporary Cultures and Composition for Screen and Stage among others.
