The Law with Modern Languages (German) is an undergraduate program offered by Royal Holloway, University of London. This unique course provides students with the opportunity to study law in-depth and alongside German language and culture, equipping them with the linguistic tools necessary for the global job market. Course Content: Throughout this four-year course, students will spend their third year at a partner university in Germany. This will allow them to enhance their language skills and improve their cultural understanding. They will also study a range of topics including the principles of contract law, public law, dispute resolution, European Union law & criminal law. Alongside this, they will explore German history, society, and politics.Key Modules: Some key modules students will explore include Tort Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, and European Union Law. In relation to German studies, students will undertake modules like Intermediate German I & II, Advanced German Translation, and Introduction to German History and Culture.Future Careers: Graduates are provided a firm foundation for future careers in the legal profession, public services, European institutions, international corporations, NGOs, or the diplomatic service.
