Royal Holloway's BA Translation Studies and History of Art and Visual Culture is a three-year long, full-time career-focused course. This course offers students a chance to mix both their creative and analytical sides, combining the challenges of translation with the exploration of visual culture. The department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures and the division of History of Art collaborate in teaching these fields, giving students the benefit of developing expertise in two distinctive yet compatible disciplines.Course Content: During their first year, students will take intensive language classes in their chosen language, or improve their skills if already proficient. Alongside this, they will take modules in the History of Art and Visual Culture.
