BA Geography

The Geography BA course offered at Royal Holloway, University of London, allows students to delve deep into human geography while also exploring physical geography. This course is designed to understand our rapidly changing world from various geographic perspectives and critical concepts.Course Content: Over the duration of three years, students will enhance their knowledge about people's relationship with their environment, social and economic issues, and an introduction to fieldwork and mapping. In the second year, students will explore various themes such as cultural geography, global city and urban infrastructure, and spatial analysis. The third year offers greater independence, offering a dissertation and modules like migratory movements, Latin American cities, and political geography.Key Modules: This course contains modules like introduction to physical geography, human geography: people, place, and social worlds, mapping and introduction to fieldwork and urban futures in the first year. For the second year, modules such as cultural geography: concepts and controversies, global city and urban infrastructure, and spatial analysis in geography.
