Key Modules: Core modules include genes and evolution, cell biology, biochemistry, animal and plant biology, principles of microbiology, and molecular genetics. Students have the option to choose from a range of optional modules such as parasite biology, oncology and immunology, developmental biology, and forensic genetics to name a few.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology for the purpose of satisfying, in part, the academic and experience requirement for the Membership and Chartered Biologist (CBiol).Future Careers: Graduates of this course go on to work in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, environmental consultancy, agribusiness, and teaching.
