BSc (Hons) Chemistry for Drug Discovery

The MChem Chemistry course at the University of Bath provides students with a broad-based and solid education in the field of chemistry. The four-year undergraduate course allows students to expand their practical abilities and theoretical knowledge, culminating in an in-depth research project. This advanced course is designed for students who wish to become practicing chemists or researchers, or who plan to further their study in chemistry.Course Content: Throughout this course, students will learn the physical, inorganic and organic aspects of chemistry. The course also includes optional units in subjects like environmental chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and materials chemistry.Key Modules: While the course has several modules, key modules include Chemical Reactivity, Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy, Transition Metal Chemistry, Organic Transformations, Molecules to Market, and the Research Project.
