The BEng Aerospace Engineering with Professional Placement course at the University of Bath is a full time undergraduate course, lasting four years with a professional placement year included. This course provides a deep understanding of engineering principles and specialized knowledge of contemporary aerospace studies as well as gaining practical experience through a professional placement. Course Content: Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to study crucial aspects of aerospace engineering, get hands-on experience in our well-equipped labs, and make use of modern computer-aided design facilities. The curriculum includes units in Aerodynamics, Astronautics, Dynamics of Astronautical Systems, Experimental Aerodynamics, Aerostructures, Control Systems and Computational Aerodynamics. Students will spend their third year in a placement to acquire workplace skills and build contacts for their future career.
