MA Music and Audio Production

The MA Music and Audio Production course at Buckinghamshire New University provides an opportunity for students to develop advanced and specific skills in production, songwriting, recording, and sound design. The course is focused on contemporary music creation and encourages students to explore innovative and experimental audio production.Course Content: Over the two years, students will investigate the essential concepts of music and audio production. This includes theoretical discussions about the technical and creative aspects of audio production, in-depth review of audio hardware and software, and critical analysis of audio and musical production.Key Modules: The course consists of key modules such as Advanced Studio Production, Creative Songwriting, The Music Industry and Professional Practice, and Master’s Project - Music Production. Future Careers: Upon completion, students will have the skills necessary for a career in a number of areas in the music industry.
