The BSc (Hons) Sustainable Product Design course at Buckinghamshire New University is a full-time program that equips students with practical skills and knowledge to understand, develop and implement new technologies and techniques for the design and production of sustainable products. This course promotes environmental sustainability through the design and aims to develop professionals with a comprehensive knowledge of the whole product design process with the protection of the environment in mind.Course Content: The course gives an understanding of the whole product design process, from initial concepts and design ideas, through CAD, materials, and mechanics, to the completion of physical and virtual models and prototypes. Throughout the study, students develop an understanding of Product Design in a real-world context focusing on industry and market needs.
