The BA (Hons) Visual Arts program at the University of Suffolk offers students the opportunity to explore different genres of pictorial art whilst also gaining knowledge in the area of the visual arts in general. The course embraces a variety of materials and processes that offer a wide range of creative possibilities. Course Content: Students on this course will explore drawing, painting and sculpture, technology in the studio, history and theory of visual art, living and working as an artist, and independent studio practice. Key Modules: The key modules of the program include, but are not limited to - Introduction to Visual Arts, Seeing and Recording, Professional Practice, Developing an Artistic Voice, and Final Major Project.Future Careers: This course prepares the students to work in various fields related to visual arts.
