The MA Public History and Heritage at Swansea University is a full-time postgraduate course that aims to equip students with an understanding of the importance of public history and heritage, develop their conceptual and theoretical understanding, and provide experiential learning opportunities. The course involves creative, cultural, theoretical, critical, and political elements that help students identify popular and academic renditions of historical themes. Course Content: The MA Public History and Heritage course includes the exploration of museums, exhibitions, public memorials and the role of online, TV and radio presentations in constructing history for the public. The themes of the modules range from the local to the global and involve the study of various types of heritage.
