LLB Hons Law in Practice

The LLB Law and Practice is a 4-year degree programme offered by Swansea University. This comprehensive programme enables students to gain a deep understanding of the theory and principles of law, while also developing a secure foundation in the key legal skills that will be valuable in their future careers.Course Content: Throughout this course, students will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of legal subjects, including contract law, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, equity and trusts, EU law, land law, and tort. They will also focus on developing their legal skills, such as legal writing, negotiation, mooting, and advocacy. In addition to this, students on this programme will undertake a paid work placement in their final year, which will provide them with practical experience in a legal setting.Key Modules: Some of the key modules in this programme include Legal Skills and Legal Systems, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Law of Equity and Trusts, Land Law, Law of Tort, EU Law, and Law in Practice Placement.
