The BA (Hons) in Business Management with Economics at Bournemouth University is a full-time, undergraduate program that integrates the study of business and economics to provide students with a broad understanding of the key concepts and tools of economic analysis, along with the managerial areas of marketing, operations, finance, and strategic management. Course Content: The course content is underpinned by regular guest lectures from industry and subject specialists, designed to integrate real-world involvement with academic study. In addition to this, students are also provided with the opportunity to undertake a 30-week work placement. Key Modules: Key modules in this course range from Management and the Modern Corporation, Essentials of Marketing, Business Economics and Quantitative Methods in the first year, to Principles of Macroeconomics, Research Studies, Operations Management and Consumer Behaviour in the second year. In the final year, students study Strategic Management, Current Issues in Management and a dissertation or consultancy project, among other modules. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), meaning students will be eligible to receive a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management upon graduation.Future Careers: Graduates of this course are primed for roles in management, operations, financial services, and many more.
