The International Human Resource Management MA at the University of Westminster is a full-time course designed for individuals interested in developing their career in the field of human resource management. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of international HRM including cross-cultural management, globalisation and diversity issues.Course Content: The course covers core HRM topics in a global context, including international HRM strategies, international staffing, and cultural awareness development. Students are also introduced to key strategic issues in managing employees in international organisations, and are enabled to appreciate the relationship between organisational strategy, behaviour and HRM amongst a culturally diverse workforce.Key Modules: The key modules of the course include International HRM; Managing Diversity and Inclusion; Globalisation and Integration in the Organisation; Managing Culture; and Applied Business Project. Each module is designed to provide students with both a practical and theoretical grounding in their chosen field.Accreditations: The course has been designed to meet the needs of HR professionals and is offered in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). On successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to achieve Associate Membership of the CIPD.Future Careers: This program prepares students for careers in HR departments of multinational companies, HR consultancy firms, or any organization operating on a global scale.
