LLb (Hons.) European Legal Studies

The European Legal Studies LLB Honours is a full-time course offered by the University of Westminster. The course is designed to prepare students for a career in the legal profession with a special emphasis on the European law context. It incorporates learning two languages and spending a year abroad studying in a European university.Course Content: The course encompasses the foundation subjects needed to obtain a qualifying law degree. It includes a firm grounding in issues of European Union law, legal systems and institutions. There is also an opportunity for students to choose from a range of optional modules according to their interests. Key Modules: Key modules in this course include Public Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, EU Law, Property Law, and Equity and Trusts. Students also have the chance to select other Law options, a Westminster elective, as well as study languages including French, German, and Spanish. Future Careers: Graduates of the European Legal Studies LLB can find employment in a wide range of professions within the legal field.
