BA (Hons.) French And International Relations

The BA (Hons) French and International Relations course at the University of Westminster provides students with an in-depth understanding of both French language and culture, and international relations theory and practice. The course aims to equip students with the necessary skills to disentangle international relations complexities whilst understanding the broader cultural contexts.Course Content: Throughout the course, students will explore a broad range of subjects including Law, Politics and Society, Introduction to International Relations, Global History, and the French language, among others. Students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in their year abroad, enhancing their language skills and cultural understanding.Key Modules: Key modules include French Language Level 4, French Language Level 5, Contemporary France: Politics, Society and Identity, French History: Conflict, Culture and Identity, International Relations and Global Theory, International Institutions and Policy, and War and Conflict. Future Careers: Graduates can expect a wide variety of career paths in diplomacy, international organisations, non-governmental organisations, humanitarian organisations, media, language teaching, translating and interpreting, and tourism.
