The English Literature BA Honours course at the University of Westminster provides students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of literary texts and contexts, while developing essential skills for a career in the creative industries. This three-year full-time undergraduate degree explores multiple eras, genres, and diverse voices within English literature.Course Content: The course content ranges from canonical works to the latest online literature trends. Students will examine many types of prose, poetry, drama, and other forms of narrative. Emphasis is on the development of critical skills and a modern understanding of English literature. Congruently, students will also address some of the most urgent cultural, political, and moral issues.Key Modules: The modules include ‘Reading London: Drama, Poetry and Prose’, ‘The Novel’, and ‘Performing Texts’.
