The Pharmacy OSPAP MSc/PGDip is a course offered by the University of Brighton. It is specifically designed for pharmacists from outside the European Economic Area, providing students with the necessary know-how to practice as a pharmacist in the UK. The course meets all the necessary regulations set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) for the Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme (OSPAP) and contributes towards pharmacists’ qualification to practice in the UK.Course Content: This intensive course focuses on pharmacy in a clinical setting, including the therapeutic management of common diseases and disorders, as well certain specific aspects of pharmaceutical science. Alongside the theoretical aspects, students will also be exposed to simulated clinical situations to prepare them for real-world applications.Key Modules: Key modules of the course include Clinical Therapeutics, Pharmacy OSCEs, Medicine Optimisation for Pharmacists, and OSPAP Research Project. Accreditations: The Pharmacy OSPAP MSc/PGDip course is fully accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).Future Careers: After successful completion of this course, students can apply for pre-registration training in the UK, followed by the GPhC’s registration assessment.
