The Law Conversion LLM course at the University of Brighton is designed for graduates of any discipline who want to convert to a career in law. It provides a basic grounding in legal knowledge for those who wish to enter the legal profession. This is a flexible course, offering part-time and full-time study options, and also distance learning provision. Course Content: The Law Conversion LLM gives an understanding of the English legal system, contract law, constitutional law, administrative law, and the law of the European Union, amongst other areas. It covers a variety of subjects necessary for qualifying as a solicitor or barrister. The course also provides the ability to study up to five areas of law in depth. Key Modules: Barbri's QLTS prep course, which includes modules such as Property Law and Practice, Criminal Practice, Civil Litigation, Business Law and Practice, Wills, Probate Administration and Practice, and Business accounts and Solicitors accounts. Accreditations: The course provides graduates with exemption from the academic stages of the training for both branches of the legal profession (Barristers and Solicitors).Future Careers: Upon completion of the Law Conversion LLM, graduates will be equipped to become a solicitor or barrister.
