MSc Forensic Psychology and Mental Health

The Forensic Psychology and Mental Health MSc offered by Coventry University is a unique multidisciplinary programme that allows you to gain important theoretical knowledge and practical skills in forensic psychology. Through this course, students will explore the broad spectrum of mental health, focusing specifically on those in secure forensic settings. Course Content: The course covers a wide-range of topics, including Understanding Mental Health, Forensic Psychology Practice, Distress and Disorder: Impacts on the Individual, and Planning and Managing Research. Key Modules: The key modules include ‘Understanding Mental Health’, ‘Forensic Psychology Practice’, ‘Distress and Disorder: Impacts on the Individual’, 'Research Skills', and 'Dissertation'. Accreditations: Although the programme is not currently accredited, Coventry University is in the process of seeking accreditation from the British Psychological Society (BPS).
