The English Literature MA course at Coventry University is designed for students who want to study further and want to deepen their knowledge in English literature. This course will give students a solid grounding in the theories and ideas of contemporary literature, and will explore works ranging from the early twentieth century to the present day.Course Content: The course offers you a depth of knowledge and skills to understand and communicate effectively about contemporary literature. You will study a wide range of fiction, poetry and drama, as well as non-fictional and critical works. The course will help you develop advanced skills in interpretation, analysis and independent thought.Key Modules: This course entails a choice of two out of three 20-credit modules titled ‘Traditions of Critique’, ‘Forms of Literature’, and ‘Modernist Movements’.
