The Economics BSc (Hons) course at Coventry University instills an in-depth understanding of economic issues in the contemporary world. With a distinct emphasis on real-world applications, this course encourages students to understand how the theories they learn can be applied to the world around them.Course Content: Over the course of three years, students will engage with microeconomic principles, macroeconomic principles, quantitative methods for economists, contemporary issues in economics, international macroeconomics and policy, industrial economics, and more. The curriculum also includes an optional sandwich year, where students can acquire valuable work experience.Key Modules: Some key modules in this course include Economics for Business, Introduction to Financial Accounting and Reporting, International Business Environment, Managerial Finance, and Auditing and Assurance.Accreditations: This course has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
