BEng (Hons.) Aerospace Systems Engineering

The Aerospace Systems Engineering BEng (Hons) at Coventry University is a course structured to train students in the complex, fast-paced field of aerospace engineering, providing the skills and knowledge to design, develop, and even certify novel aircraft and spacecraft systems. Course Content: Learners will gain a foundational understanding of physics and mathematics applications in aerospace, an overview of the aerospace industry, and an introduction to the engineering design process. As they proceed, they will delve into aero-measurements and instrumentation, aircraft materials and manufacture, dynamics, signals, and systems. The course also imparts skills in professional practice and research with an industry focus, as well as in electronics and robotics applications for aerospace. Additionally, students get a chance to work on organization projects as well as individual final year projects.Key Modules: Key modules in this course include Engineering Maths and Physics for Aerospace, Introduction to Aerospace, Engineering Design and Professional Practice, Aerodynamics I & II, Aircraft Structural Design, Propulsion Systems, and Space Systems.
