BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a full-time undergraduate program offered by Aston University. This course is designed to equip students with the theoretical understanding and practical skills required to design, analyse and implement electrical and electronic circuits. Course Content: The course spans over four years. The first year covers the fundamental knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, including math, physics, and programming. The second year delves deeper into the subject with specialized modules and a team project. In the final year, students take part in an individual project while also learning about industrial management and emerging technologies.Key Modules: Key modules include Mathematics for Engineers, Digital and Analog Electronics, Engineering Programming, Analog and Digital Signal Processing, Power Systems Analysis, and Industrial Management.Accreditations: The BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.Future Careers: Past graduates have been successful in securing roles such as Electronic Systems Designer, Control Engineer, and Electronic Engineer in leading corporations.
