The BSc (Hons) Popular Music Production at Solent University is a full-time, undergraduate course that is designed to help students build a dynamic portfolio of professional-level music productions. Through hands-on experience and theoretical learning, the course encourages students to develop a deep understanding of how popular music production processes can be manipulated and applied.Course Content: The degree offers a broad base of knowledge in music production including studio recording, live sound production, and commercial audio post-production. It further extends the traditional boundaries of music production and investigates how the producer's role can be applied to other areas such as songwriting, realisation, and performance.
